Each of these units can be equipped with a number of accessories.
It makes the job of radiation monitoring easier and more effective.

Often, it will be necessary to search for radioactive sources in places that are difficult to reach such as on the top or underneath large vehicles, inside trains, in piles of scrap metal, and inside shipping containers.

Radiation sources can be dangerous to people.
The farther the source is from a person, the lower the radiation exposure. By using a telescopic tube, an individual can reduce their exposure and better reach these difficult areas.

Sometimes, in the performance of specific operations, it may be necessary to conceal the instrument so as not to attract the attention of other people. An external alarm module, that vibrates to indicate an alarm, can be placed in a shirt pocket or on a wristband. It can be equipped with a special button that is used to force the instrument to acquire a new background radiation value.

The instruments have a non-volatile memory, which stores the history of its operations, such as parameter settings, on/off times, background values, alarm type (gamma or neutron), and radiation values that exceeded the alarm threshold.
This data can be transmitted to a PC using the IRDA port or an IRDA adapter that is easily connected to the PC.

The instruments can be carried in a pocket or on the individual's belt using either the built-in clip or a carrying case.
